What I am thankful for

I am thankful for my wife - of nearly 25 years. I love her with all of my heart.

I am thankful for my children - I love them unconditionally.

I am thankful for my health - which I never take for granted.

I am thankful for my home - which provides a place of warmth and happiness.

I am thankful for my friends - with whom I can "be myself."

I am thankful for my parents - who are always there with a listening ear.

I am thankful for the leadership of our church - godly people who serve with compassionate hearts.

I am thankful for changed lives - which I see on a weekly basis.

And...I am thankful for God. Jesus - without whom I could do nothing.

May you have a wonderful thanksgiving!

I'll agree with that whole list (though Kim and I have only been married 22.5 years) and add a few of my own:

I am thankful to live in America.

I am thankful to have a job.

I am thankful to be blessed and be able to help others in need.

I am thankful for the men and women of our Armed Forces, who protect our liberty and our country.

I am thankful for our veterans, who fought for our way of life and some paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can be "free."

I am thankful for Jesus Christ, who paid the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE so that all of us could be FREE!!

I am thankful for our forefathers, who were guided by God into developing a system of government that was radical at the time. It may not work perfectly but it is the best thing going today.

I am thankful that God Almighty rules and reigns in Heaven above and on Earth. With Him, all things are possible.

And lastly, I am thankful that God loves me enough to forgive me when I do wrong, to wrap me in His arms and cherish me even when I don't deserve it. God is Good, All the Time!

May God bless and keep you throughout your life...He will if you but come to Him and ask.

Love and prayers

I am thankful for you also. God has blessed us so much over the past 25 years. He has never forsaken us or let us down.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and it has been fantastic this year again spending it with family and friends.

God is Good!

There is way too much for me to list. I am truly blessed and thankful for all past and current things in my life. I would never change a thing as God has been with me every step of the way. I recall a time in 1998 I no longer knew how to pray for my father, whom I have been praying for over 25 years. I was at a complete loss. The Lord said to me (not audible) thank me for everything your father has done for you." I thought, well I'll be here for one minute. As I sat waiting on the Lord, it ended up taking me over an hour to say all I was thankful for. God changed my heart that night to focus on what is good, instead of what is bad (which is so easy most of the times). Today, I'm overwhelmed at all the good in my life that I give thanks to the Lord for. My life is enriched because of my husband, my two children, my family, and my dear friends. And, Debbie and George, thank you for being the pastors the Lord has called you to here in Battle Creek, Michigan. We are truly blessed and thankful to be under your shepherding. We love you!
